Environment, Habitat and Rehabilitation:
EDAS carries out environment related activities to promote environment friendly livelihood. EDAS organizes community meeting, awareness raising campaign, rallies at grass root level with emphasizing the emerging need like adaptation of climate change, disaster management, green belt, pollution free environment. To facilitate climate change adaptation of the excluded ultra poor adjacent to the Sundarbans mangrove forest at Kayra, EDAS supports for the survival of 1500 families. EDAS facilitates repairing home and raising homestead plinth of 750 families at Gabura and Kayra.
